Software Reviews, Recommendations And Tutorials

Welcome software enthusiast!

PC guy here.

I'm a rabid software collector and user. With a background in aerospace design and drafting, I've been exposed to a variety of programs. A short list of these include: computer aided design, 3D and solid modeling, graphic design, photo editing, website design and, of course, office software.

What Kind Of Software Are You Looking For?

Whatever it is, you will find helpful reviews, concise tutorials and other pertinent information on the software you're considering — right here. You see, after using so many different programs, I've come to find that some are just better, faster, easier, than others.

Of course, some programs that are purported to be the best, actually are. Dreamweaver website design software, for example, is in fact the best there is. I've used others and now believe Dreamweaver has no rivals.

Also, I'm going to give you tips and tricks to get the most out of your software package(s). Like this: Did you know that on a PC, screen capture software is not even necessary? That's right, just;

  1. Type Shift + Print Screen/Sys Rq on your keyboard
  2. Open Xara Xtreme, Photoshop, or your favorite graphic design or photo editing software
  3. Start a new document (if necessary)
  4. Type Ctrl + v to paste
  5. That's it!

Pretty cool huh? There's going to be more where that came from, so stay tuned.

Useful And Requisite Software Utilities

Anti spam software can be useful if you get enormous amounts of junk in your inbox, but an anti virus utility is absolutely necessary if you open attachments, surf the Web, or install software — which you probably do, as you're here reading this right now.

So I'm going to share my experiences with utility software. This is, what I consider to be the best and most useful, as well as, those that you should probably stay away from — adware being on the top of my "what to avoid" list. But I'll cover that elsewhere.

And, I want to hear from you. If you have a website and want to get some exposure, why not share some of your favorite software tricks with my readers? I'll point back to your site, so you might get some visitors and improve your ranking. Visit the Submit Article page for more info.

OK, time to get started. Simply follow the links under the Software or Learning tabs at the top of the page to find help and answers to your software questions, concerns, or … curiosity.
