Software Tutorials, Computer Lessons And Career Information

Computers are useful tools for a myriad tasks and a necessity for many jobs nowadays. And, computers are now used for entertainment as well. If you don't know the ins and outs of your operating system and the software titles you need or want to use, computers can be slightly intimidating.

Also, if you want to get a good job — career — you'll need to know the operating system, office software, ie; Word and Excel and any other software you'll be required to use on the job. Of course, if you want a career in computers you'll need to attend computer college or a technical school.

With that said, I'm going to try, here, to provide you with the information and resources you'll need to move forward. If you're a computer user looking for tips and tricks for Windows and a vast variety of programs, you'll find tutorials on these pages. Or, if you are looking for information on computer schools, either online or off, I'll point you in the right direction.

Because you are reading this here, now, you already have at least a little knowledge of computers (unless this was printed out for you). Even if you already posses the basic skills needed to browse the Internet, and have a working knowledge of programs like word processors or spread sheets, a more in-depth computer lesson can make using these programs a pleasure, and give you a better understanding of how all programs work on the PC.

So, if you want to improve your knowledge of computing, learn how to use a specific software package better, or find information on computer careers, start with the Learning tab at the top of this page.

Happy computing,

P.S. I'm currently preparing Interactive Quick Courses on Windows, Open Office, Photoshop Elements and several more programs. If you have a specific title you'd like to get some tips on, please shoot me an email. Tell me what it is you'd like to know, and if I use your ideas I'll send you a link to get a free copy — if you promise to tell me how you like the course.
