Computer Recommendations And "How To" Information
To help make your life easier, I'm going to look at; buying cheap computers, high-end computers, desktop computers, laptops (notebooks) and building PC computers. Anything relating to the computer itself will be covered in this section.
Basically, I'm going to reveal retail computer; features, performance and prices. As well as, how to build PCs and what parts you'll need for your specific requirements.
Compare Computer Prices
The first thing to consider when you compare computer prices is; what you're intended use will be. You may not want to part with a wad of cash on a high-end computer with all the bells and whistles if they're going to go unused. These days, you can pick up a Dell desktop for an amazingly low price. About 300 to 400 bucks. That's a great deal considering what home computers used to go for.
What's your current computer of choice? I'm talking about type — laptop, desktop, or notebook. Regardless of what style or size you prefer, one thing is for certain; you want to get the best possible deal. This is why it's imperative to compare computer prices and features before buying.
Rolling Your Own PC
Back in the day, when I needed to do some video editing for a multimedia project, camcorders were not digital, and available computers did not have the capability of capturing video. So, I proceeded to build my own PC. With a little research on — analog to digital — video capture cards and sound boards beforehand, the procuring of parts and the assembly of said parts, went quite smoothly.
What I'm going to try and provide here, is a clear and concise blueprint for building a PC to your requirements and desires. Even considering all the capabilities of modern out-of-the-box computers, there are still many reasons why you might want to build your own PC. High-end sound editing for musicians, dual video cards for investors and other data hounds, 3D digital capture hardware for animators, to name just a few.
So, whether you just want some comparison info or aspire to build your own PC, this is where to start.
Happy
Computing.
